Book Hire

The Parents and Friends Association operates a Text Book Hiring Scheme at the College, which saves parents the great expense of purchasing textbooks outright each year. This scheme is a real cost saver to parents.

All parents of students in Years 8-12 are eligible to receive the State Government Text Book Allowance. In order for our Book Hire to continue, we ask that parent’s waiver the State Government Book allowance to the College, and pay only a minimal Hire Fee pertaining to their child’s year level. Textbooks are distributed to students as required throughout the year.

The Text Book Hire Cost is published and distributed prior to the commencement of each year and is payable direct to Parents and Friends Association Book Hire. Should a text book be damaged whilst on loan to a student, it is the responsibility of that student to pay for the replacement book.
