Arts Council, Life Education and Various Other Presentations
Junior School takes part in a variety of interesting and informative presentations such as Arts Council, Life Education Van, Conservation and Reptile Presentations, Music and Dance Performances from different countries. These presentations are all covered by Tuition Fees.
Fundraising and Community Events
The Junior School participates in fundraisers such as Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea that usually involves the whole Peace community. This provides a great opportunity for our students to be involved in helping others in a simple but effective way.
NAIDOC week is also important to the Junior School. Junior School students get involved in cultural activities which both parents and students from Middle and Senior School organize. It is a fun day but also very educational as we see a different perspective on life.
Book Week is always one of the highlights of the Junior School Academic Year. During this week the students experience ”storytelling” in a very hands on way. Students dress up for Book Character Day in their favourite character, and grandparents and friends are entertained, served morning tea and visit class rooms. The culmination of Book Week is the Bookweek Concert which is both fund and friend raising.
