Middle School Assignment Schedules

A Calendar listing due dates for all assignments will be issued to students as early as possible each term.  Teachers, students and parents are advised to check carefully that the total workload for the student is not excessive.  All information relevant to the execution of the assignment should be given as early as possible e.g.

• a clear and specific statement of objectives
• a clear and specific statement of procedures
• a clear definition of parameters such as length, time, structures, method of presentation
• dates for presentation of rough, and or final drafts
• the contribution to the overall assessment
• evaluation criteria and weighting thereof
• information on the availability and location of resources

Extensions must be applied for at least 2 days before due date.  Whole class extensions must be applied for a minimum of 3 days before due date, through the relevant Coordinator of School and the Subject Coordinator/Head of Department.

Unless the Principal waives an assignment, all assignments mut be completed and submitted even if their deadlines are not met.
