Academic Excellence
As a result of the College's exceptional academic program, of the students who consented to their ATAR results being released, 23% of our 2021 graduates achieved an ATAR of 90+, placing them in the top 10% nationally.
In 2021, an outstanding 97% of results were 'A' to 'C' grades - 20% of General Subject results were 'A' grade, with a further 36% 'B' grade. In addition to this, 100% of fulltime students within our 2021 Year 12 cohort were awarded a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
These results are evidence of the hard work and commitment of these students, as well as the care, attention and dedication of their teachers who have journeyed with them and their families who have supported them.

Vocational Education & Training (VET) Success
VET Courses
Twenty-one Year 11 and 12 students participated in a VET course in 2021 - 19 of these students successfully completed their courses, with three students due to complete the second year of their course this year.
Certificate II Health Support Services was the most popular course, with six students enrolled. Other courses included:
- Certificate II Aircraft Line Maintenance
- Certificate II Maritime Operations
- Certificate II Engineering Pathways
- Certificate I Construction
- Certificate II Electrotechnology
- Certificate II Auto Electrical Technology
Certificate II in Outdoor Education was introduced in 2021, with four students successfully completing their course as well as achieving a diving certification.
School-based Apprenticeships
Two students undertook a school-based apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery.
Start Uni Now (SUN) Program
As part of the CQU SUN program, three students successfully completed a university subject in the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Medical Imaging degrees.
