Learning in Prep
Prep is an academically significant year with the foundations for all subject areas being established, particularly Literacy and Numeracy.
From the start of the year, our Prep students will:
- Read
- Write
- Learn phonics
- Learn the early stages of mathematical concepts
Learning in Prep takes place through appropriate, hands-on experiences with the intention of creating investigators of the future.
Keeping it fun
Your child will be encouraged to explore the endless possibilities of their learning potential, whilst being supported to think for themselves.
Learning is kept relevant and fun, as well as challenging, shaping children to be active contributors and participators in their community and the professional world in which they will enter.
