House Parent for Girls Boarding Houses

Peace Lutheran College (Peace) is a co-educational Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school located in beautiful Cairns in tropical North Queensland. The College provides an inclusive, multi-cultural educational environment where excellence is pursued, relationships are valued and where Christ is central. We value Peace, Excellence, Respect, and Community by nurturing grace, harmony, and high aspirations, and by showing respect for all through the building of positive relationships.

Pastoral Care at Peace is based on restorative practices and strong relationships. Staff seek to be relational rather than transactional. Through embedding restorative practices in partnership with Real Schools, we proactively engage with our students, to provide a high level of support for all areas of pastoral care: academic, social, emotional and spiritual, which increases outcomes in learning for each individual.
