Kindergarten Structure

Each of our classrooms has an Early Childhood Teacher and Educator who is guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Kindergarten Operations

Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.

The kindergarten year commences annually in mid-January and is offered throughout the year. Qualified staff continues the kindergarten routine and plans experiences that stimulate and engage the children during school holidays.

Peace Lutheran Kindergarten operates 48 weeks of the year and closes for four weeks over the Christmas period.

Eligibility

Kindergarten-age-eligible children will be given priority, i.e. children who turn four years of age prior to the 30th of June in the year they start kindergarten.

Fees

The daily fee is $99.00* for kindergarten-eligible children, and $103.00* for all other children, prior to Childcare Subsidy. The Enrolment Fee is $75.00*.

Peace Lutheran Kindergarten is part of the Queensland Government's Free Kindy program.
