On His Way To The Australian Nationals

Year 9 Peace Lutheran College student, Saxon has been selected for the Queensland North U16 men's team to represent Queensland at the Australian U16 Men's Basketball competition to be held in Perth in July.

Saxon's basketball journey commenced at Peace Lutheran College when he joined our newly formed U12 boy's College team that competed in the local Cairns Basketball competition. Saxon has excelled ever since - representing Cairns as part of the Cairns Marlin team two years in a row, selected by Basketball Queensland for their Future Development Program and State Performance Program, and being selected for the U15 Queensland State Development Team.

Saxon's latest achievement with the Queensland North U16 team saw him selected from top players across Central and Far North Queensland. Saxon and his team will compete against the best under 16 players in Australia when they take to the court at the National Championship in July.
