PLC Awarded QAMT Gold Maths Active School

Peace Lutheran College has been awarded QAMT Gold Maths Active School Status, acknowledging the strength of our maths program. The college has been recognised by the QAMT Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers Inc. for the inspiring work of our staff and students to build a love and appreciation of mathematics at the college, awarded Gold Maths Active School status for 2026.

This year, the college has supported and facilitated the Year 7 Maths Challenge Day, the Years 5/6 Maths Quiz, working with the Cairns QAMT. The college was also honoured to be able to deliver our Mathematical Methods course, online, to Redeemer Lutheran College.
